Dr Tom Carroll is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, School of Mathematical Sciences, University College, Cork. He currently teaches a range of courses across calculus, analysis, probability and stochastic calculus, and financial Mathematics.
Tom’s PhD work was in complex variables and potential theory. He continues to research and publish in analysis, and to supervise research students in these areas and in financial Mathematics. Tom enjoys the challenges of teaching Mathematics, especially to first year students.
